In brilliant style Creed and crew check and mate the enemy at every turn, even enlisting power from one of the oldest beings in creation. Plenty of blood and guts to satisfy a die hard assault trooper and then some. A great read that leaves open the prospect of even greater adventures in the end... I kept thinking Green Lantern after reading the epilogue..those of you who finish may understand why.Product details

Fortress Earth Extinction Wars Volume 4 Vaughn Heppner Books Reviews
I’ve enjoyed the series but this book has become too hard to read. Heppner seems to be using the book more as a political platform. The number of off rants about political correctness and his emphatic love of 1950s-1960s American society (“best time in history”) gets old quickly. Became too distracting along with an infusion of subtle racism so I set the book aside. It’s a shame, I like his imagination and stories.
Good plot, continued development of characters over the volumes of this series, interesting political intrigue, good action and battle sequences, creative military overlay... a totally enjoyable read for me. And... set up for future adventures of hero.
This series has been fun. Unfortunately, by the last book, it got fairly redundant with it's description of battles and plot twists. I would enjoy a new offshoot with Creed as the effectuator for the Curator. But if this concept grows legs, please make it third person. I'm really tired of Creed telling how awesome he is.
Vaughn Heppner has become one of my favorite authors. I just finished Fortress Earth and I loved it! Like all of the books by Vaughn Heppner have almost non stop action and great story telling. Pick up any of his many books an I am sure you will become as big a fan as I am.
I think I liked more the previous book in the series. I also think that this book has something very close to a plot hole. We are made to believe that one character is accidently murdered only to discover a few pages later it is alive and well. No explanations or hints are provided. The other characters treat this as something that didn't happened.
This book seemed more superficial to me than the others in the series.
Much more mature writing style, with fast pace adventure and space action. It seems that mr. Heppner was in the zone for this one, so I definitely recommend reading all of them if you haven't yet, and this one if you already have.
Will be eagerly waiting for Commander Creed to make yet another appearance!
The story is wild. In fact the third book was so wild I couldn’t put it down and continued to hang on with this book.
But I could strongly sense the author’s ideas flowing and could stop, thereby creating logic failures such as (spoiler alert) Abaddon using Ella as human shield and has her decorating the walls as a result. But while fighting Abaddon, she was there to help Creed.
Passing that one would want to read to find out how creed gets out of an seemingly impossible situation.
